Realizability of interaction models
نویسنده
چکیده
In scenarios where a set of independent business partners engage in complex conversations, interaction models are a means to specify the allowed interaction behavior from a global perspective. Atomic interactions serve as basic building blocks and behavioral dependencies are defined between them. The notion of realizability centers around the question whether there exist a set of roles that collectively realize the specified behavior. This notion has been studied in the literature in different flavors. This paper aims at providing an overarching framework for realizability.

Towards a Complexity-through-Realizability Theory
We explain how recent developments in the fields of realizability models for linear logic [Sei14e] – or geometry of interaction – and implicit computational complexity [AS14, AS15] can lead to a new approach of implicit computational complexity. This semantic-based approach should apply uniformly to various computational paradigms, and enable the use of new mathematical methods and tools to att...
متن کاملDecidability Results for Choreography Realization
A service choreography defines a set of permitted sequences of message events as a specification for the interaction of services. Realizability is a fundamental sanity check for choreographies comparable to the notion of soundness for workflows. We study several notions of realizability: partial, distributed, and complete realizability. They establish increasingly strict conditions on realizing...
متن کاملAnalysis of Realizability Conditions for Web Service Choreographies
Web service choreography languages allow for the description of multipart collaborations from a global point of view, specifying the information exchanged by the participants in order to accomplish a common business goal. An important issue, emerging from the choreography modelling, is the protocol realizability, i.e., the possibility to extract the local specifications of the participants, so ...
متن کاملRealizability is controllability
A choreography describes the interaction between services. It may be used for specification purposes, for instance serving as a contract in the design of an interorganizational business process. Typically, not all describable interactions make sense which motivates the study of the realizability problem for a given choreography. In this paper, we show that realizability can be traced back to th...
متن کاملRealizability algebras III: some examples
The notion of realizability algebra, which was introduced in [17, 18], is a tool to study the proof-program correspondence and to build new models of set theory, which we call realizability models of ZF. It is a variant of the well known notion of combinatory algebra, with a new instruction cc, and a new type for the environments. The sets of forcing conditions, in common use in set theory, are...
